In 1975 the Dusenberry family opened the Yuma branch of Horizon Moving Systems, as an owner and agent of United Van Lines. The first location was a small 5,000 square foot office and warehouse near Arizona Ave. and 16th Street. Horizon quickly established its reputation for outstanding customer service and, in 1982, constructed a new office and warehouse with over 31,000 square feet of space at Pacific Ave. and 24th St., where it is still located today.
As a member of the Yuma County Chamber of Commerce and the Yuma Visitors Bureau, Horizon Moving Systems is committed to community service and actively supports many service organizations and charitable causes. This involvement, together with our strong business reputation, is why Horizon has earned the award of “Yuma’s Best Moving Company” for many years. Horizon is a proud sponsor of Yuma Regional Medical Center’s annual golf tournament which raises funds for programs that build a healthier community. We partner with the Yuma Foothills Rotary for their annual “Hank Days” celebration, KSWT’s annual blanket drive, the March of Dimes, Girl Scouts of Southern Arizona, the Yuma Community Food Bank and many others.
